Books about reindeer herding

«Sørsamisk reindrift gjennom ett år» (Southern Sami reindeer herding through one year)

A book that focuses on reindeer herding and today's challenges in the Southern Sami area. Among other things, you get insight into the reindeer as a species, reindeer herding and the legal basis of reindeer herding.

Not least, it sheds light on the challenges reindeer herding faces today as a result of loss and degradation of land of all kinds. This is not only a threat to Southern Sami reindeer herding, but also to the Southern Sami language and culture.
