 A book that focuses on reindeer herding and the current challenges in the Southern Sami area. It provides, among other things, an insight into the reindeer as an animal species, reindeer herding and the legal basis for reindeer herding. Not least, it highlights the challenges that reindeer herding is experiencing today due to land loss and land reduction of all kinds. This is not only a threat to Southern Sami reindeer herding, but also to the Southern Sami language and culture.
